Rates and Payment

Cost Per Session

The BC Association of Clinical Counsellors currently recommends that experienced Registered Clinical Counsellors charge between $150 - $165 per 50 minute session. I currently offer clients rates starting at $150.00 (+GST) per 50 minute session.

Making Payments

When booking in for your first appointment online, we ask you to register a credit card into the booking system in order to secure your appointment. When you arrive for an appointment, we will charge the card directly, so you don’t have to worry about paying for each session as you come and go, we take care of that for you. We also ask for a credit card so that in the event of a missed appointment, we are able to charge the card for the session.

Late Cancellation and Missed Sessions

Sessions can be cancelled or rescheduled through your Jane client profile any time up to 48 hours before your appointment. If a session is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice or a session is not attended, the full session fee of $150.00 (+GST) will be applied.

Extended Health Benefits

If you have extended health insurance coverage, it is quite likely that your insurance company will cover the cost of several counselling sessions in part or in full, depending on your provider. Check your benefits package to see if Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCC) are included in the services available. If you are unsure, please connect with your benefits provider directly for clarification.
