Clinical Counselling and Psychotherapy
When we are struggling or overwhelmed, all of us could use someone to support and guide us in making the changes we need.
Counselling can be helpful as we access new perspectives, learn about what causes our problems, and find a course of action when we previously felt stuck and hopeless.
Meet Curtis
Hi! I’m really glad you’ve found my site. No matter what you’re facing on your journey right now, I hope I can provide you with something helpful.
As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, I’ve trained for years to help you deal with challenging and painful situations in your life, past or present. I love helping people learn how to encounter all of their emotions and experiences with an attitude that eases their suffering, and with skills that help them to make changes that they thought were impossible.
But just because we deal with important issues, doesn’t mean going to therapy has to be heavy, impersonal or cold experience. I find counselling goes best for both my clients and I when we take a relaxed approach that allows both of us to show up as our full selves, swapping out judgment and fixing for discovery, adaptability and creativity to find the answers that will truly work for you.
Getting started in therapy
Whether you’ve been to many different counsellors before, or if seeking me out is your first encounter with therapy, there can be a lot of uncertainty when trying to find someone to help you.
Find out what therapy is about, how it might be helpful for you, and my specific approach to how I provide clinical counselling.
“Everything can be taken from a person but one thing: the last of human freedoms - to choose one’s attitude in any given set of cirucmstances, to choose one’s own way”

Psychiatrist, Concentration Camp Survivor
